Our Secret is Simple
We build our own repacked Starters and Boosters that allow us to give people who participate in our tournament similar odds to pull any given card as if it were a sealed Unlimited Starter Deck, and to GUARANTEE that Black Lotuses, Timetwisters, Moxes, Time Walks, Ancestral Recalls, and more will all be opened inside the tournament. The best part is, this allows us to offer up the experience at a fraction of the cost to open sealed Starters and Boosters.
Our Premier Event
Our premier event has room for 120 players, with each participant getting 1 Unlimited Starter (2 Rares, 13 Uncommons, 45 Commons), and 3 “Four Horsemen” Boosters (more on this in a second).
The Unlimited Starter is built up from 2 full sets of Unlimited, and additional cards (to get up to the 5400 commons, 1560 uncommons, and 240 rares needed) to make the total pool that will then be split into 120 starters. That means 2 Black Lotuses will be opened. 2 Timetwisters. 2 Mox Sapphires. You get the idea. At least 2 of every rare in the set will be opened. Of course, some will be pack fresh, others will be well-loved. Most of the expensive cards will be between HP and LP. So, what’s a "Four Horsemen" booster?
These are a creation of our own, but basically we start with a complete full set of Arabian Nights, a complete full set of Antiquities, a complete full set of Legends, and a complete full set of The Dark, then add in additional cards from these "Four Horsemen" sets to get to a total pool of 360 rares, 1080 uncommons, and 3960 commons.
This makes a traditional booster pack of 1 rare, 3 uncommons, and 11 commons, but composed fully of cards from ONLY these four sets. Each booster will have at least one card from each set. Click here for more details into the Four Horsemen booster card pool.
